What does Elvis Presley and Joe Black have in common? A shared love for peanut butter! Peanut butter is one of my own true loves and I cannot start a morning without my bowl of Reese’s Puffs cereal. Peanut butter and chocolate is a match made in sweet tooth heaven, the saltiness of the peanuts bringing out the sweetness in the chocolate, the sticky and crunchy texture of the peanut butter giving any chocolate dessert more dimension and richness. I can’t say enough about peanut butter, I love eating it in cakes, pies, ice cream, cookies, granola bars, brownies, candy and yes, even breakfast cereal but never EVER in a sandwich. Actually, I don’t even like peanuts so the fact that I have a love affair with peanut butter is an anomaly. But true love knows no rhyme nor reason.
